Cotto Manetti has opened to the design world with a collection of complements and accessories. The brand’s chosen material, Impruneta clay, has joined the latest contemporary developments to create elegant and functional forms of excellent design and manufacturing quality. These objects are aimed to furnish both interior and outdoor spaces, while enhancing both home and hospitality contexts in the widest variety of styles.

Since 2015 the craft production at the Greve in Chianti kiln has been realising projects in collaboration with very interesting names from international contemporary design. The company’s profound manufacturing know how and flexibility enable it to harness clay, water and fire to accomplish an array of projects, to experiment and to meet constantly evolving aesthetic and functional challenges.
Designer
Mario Scairato
Born in Paestum in 1989, he lives and works in Milan, where he deals with furniture and product design and art direction. Classical architecture, the myth and natural heritage of his homeland, have been a constant source of inspiration for his work. In it he researches and explores the expressive forms of design with an innovative and contemporary approach. His design is notable for its vigorous graphic appeal, the immediacy of its forms and its unerring use of colour. Designs by him have been exhibited at the Milan Triennale, ADI Design Museum, Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Casa do Design Matosinhos, and Design Museum Holon. He has designed products for numerous Italian names, including Abet Laminati, Alessi, Bulgari, Dnd, Internoitaliano, Lispi, Moleskine and Tenuta Vannulo.
